What YouTube Ads management covers
YouTube Ads management means planning, running and improving video and image ads on YouTube through your Google Ads account, so they bring enquiries or sales and not just views. We choose the right campaign type and format, set up conversion tracking, brief the creative, and optimise every week against the result you care about.
YouTube is part of our Google Ads management service. This page explains how we approach it on its own, for businesses in Delhi NCR and across India that want video to do more than build awareness.
Who YouTube Ads are for
YouTube works best for businesses whose buyers need to see something before they act. That includes:
- D2C and ecommerce brands with products that are easier to show than describe, often paired with a product feed
- Education, coaching and study-abroad businesses where students and parents want to see faculty, campus or results before they enquire
- Real estate developers and brokers showing site walkthroughs, location and amenities
- SaaS and B2B companies that need product demos and explainer videos in front of the right audience
- Local businesses that want people in their area to recognise them before they search
It suits you less if you have no video or image assets and no budget to make any, or if your buyers only ever search with a clear need. In that case, Search campaigns are usually the better first step.
The problems it solves
- Search campaigns have hit their limit, because only so many people search for what you sell
- Video ads are running but get counted only on views, with no link to leads or sales
- Ads are shown on placements and to audiences that never buy
- The same long video is used everywhere, including Shorts, where it doesn't fit
YouTube ad formats and how you pay
Each format works differently, and so does billing. This is how Google describes them as of October 2026:
| Format | How it works | How you pay |
|---|---|---|
| Skippable in-stream | Plays before, during or after other videos. Viewers can skip after 5 seconds | With CPV bidding, when someone watches 30 seconds (or the whole ad if shorter) or interacts. With CPM or conversion bidding, per impression |
| Non-skippable in-stream | Up to 60 seconds, can't be skipped | Per thousand impressions (target CPM) |
| Bumper | A non-skippable ad of up to 6 seconds | Per thousand impressions (target CPM) |
| In-feed | A thumbnail with text in search results, next to related videos and on the mobile home feed | When someone clicks to watch |
| Shorts | Plays between Shorts in the feed, and viewers can swipe past | Depends on bidding. With CPV, a view counts at 10 seconds, the end, or an interaction |
| Masthead | A featured video at the top of the YouTube home feed | Reservation only, through a Google sales representative |
For most of our clients, the right choice is the one tied to a business goal. Skippable in-stream and Shorts with conversion bidding suit leads and sales. Bumpers and non-skippable ads suit reach and recall around a launch or sale.
Demand Gen: YouTube, Shorts, Discover and Gmail
Much of today's YouTube advertising for leads and sales runs through Demand Gen campaigns. According to Google Ads Help, Demand Gen combines video and image ads across YouTube (including Shorts), Discover, Gmail and the Google Display Network, and can bid for clicks, conversions or conversion value.
Two points from Google's own guidance shape how we set these up:
- Conversion tracking comes first. Google asks advertisers to set it up on the website and check that the Google tag works before bidding for conversions.
- Budget has to match the target. For target CPA bidding, Google recommends a budget of at least 10 times your target cost per acquisition. A small budget with a strict target often leaves a campaign stuck in learning.
What changed in September 2026
Google's September 2026 Demand Gen update, announced on 24 September, added:
- One-click image ads on Shorts: with 9:16 full-bleed image ads, viewers can reach your landing page in a single tap
- One-click image ads in Gmail, when Gmail is added to a Demand Gen campaign
- Business Agent for YouTube Ads: viewers can ask a conversational AI about products or the brand next to video ads that use a product feed. Advertisers sign up through Google
The practical takeaway is that vertical 9:16 creative, both video and image, now matters as much as the standard 16:9 video most brands already have.
What's included in YouTube Ads management
- An audit of your existing Google Ads and YouTube campaigns, channel and tracking
- Conversion tracking through the Google tag, and Google Analytics where needed
- Campaign structure: the campaign type, bidding and audiences for each goal
- Creative briefs for 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16 versions, with the hook in the first five seconds
- Placement and content exclusions, so ads don't run where they don't fit your brand
- Remarketing to people who watched your videos or visited your site
- Weekly optimisation and a clear report on views, leads, cost and what changed
We brief and review creative. If you don't have videos yet, we'll tell you what to shoot and how short it should be, and we can work from simple phone footage and images.
How we run YouTube Ads
- Audit first. We look at what's running, what's tracked and what your Search and Meta campaigns already tell us about your buyers.
- Tracking. We set up or fix conversion tracking so every campaign is judged on enquiries or sales.
- Plan and launch. We agree the goal, campaign type, audiences and creative for each offer, then launch.
- Weekly optimisation. We review placements, audiences, creative and bids every week, and replace ads that tire.
- Transparent reporting. You see what was spent, what it produced and what we're changing next. Engagements are month to month.
YouTube often works best alongside other channels. If your buyers also scroll Instagram, see Meta Ads management, and for product brands, Google Ads for ecommerce.
What affects the cost
There are two parts: your ad budget, which you pay Google directly, and our management fee. What moves them:
- Your goal and bidding: paying for views, impressions or conversions changes what you pay for and how much
- Audience and location: narrow, competitive audiences cost more to reach than broad ones
- Creative: ads that hold attention usually get cheaper results over time, and weak ones get more expensive
- How many campaigns and offers we manage, and how much creative needs to be briefed
Management fees for paid ads start from ₹10,000/month. Get a quote for your business, based on your goals and current setup.

It depends on the format and bidding. Skippable ads with CPV bidding are charged when someone watches 30 seconds or interacts. Bumpers and non-skippable ads are charged per thousand impressions, and in-stream ads using conversion bidding are charged per impression.
Yes, when conversion tracking is set up and campaigns such as Demand Gen bid for conversions. The ad, landing page and offer all need to point to one clear action.
No. Short, clear videos shot on a phone often work, especially on Shorts. Demand Gen can also run image ads. What matters is a strong opening and a clear next step.
Yes. YouTube ads are created and paid for in Google Ads, and they can use the same conversion tracking and audiences as your Search campaigns.
Campaigns that bid for conversions need time and data to learn, so judge them over weeks, not days. We report every week so you can see what's improving and what we're changing.
